On either side, as far as the eye can see, Deerfoot trail is flanked by smoothly combed yellow grain fields and the vegetation just stubborn enough to flower. After such arduous winters, it can only be called a valiant act.
Weather is king in these parts, and the sheer size of the sky reminds me of impermanence; how our plans and our structures are really always at the mercy of a continuous conversation between air water and fire.
